Got out and on the beach about 30 minutes before the sun came up. Found nothing for the first 40 minutes then hit a spot I knew everyone would be running for. I got there about 10 minutes before everyone else. There was 4 of us searching this little area hahahaha. I found a ladies pair of silver plated earrings and about 70 cents then I found a like new ladies Citizen brand Eco-Drive watch with Swarovski crystals surrounding the bezel. Nice watch in running condition. Originally sold for $187.50. I cleaned the sand out of the bracelet and put it on Craigslist for $40.00.

Went to a few other places and didn't find much. Hit a bunch of ripple troughs and got a few signals but only 4 coins panned out including one quarter at 6" which in the wet sand I was really happy with. Have a hard time with pinpointing in the wet though but I didn't expect any different. I am really hitting the ripple troughs hard wherever I see them. Hitting the areas where the ocean has left a lot of shells and gravel as well but haven't been able to find more than a few coins at a time. I hit my couple of spots in the dry first thing in the morning and then go right to the wet and work it hard for hours. That 11 x 14 DD can get to you after 6 hours of swinging. The wind today was crazy. 35 MPH gusts and sand was blowing everywhere but I got my 6 hours in. Will be out again in the morning.

Nice watch find. Congrats !!!

I'm gad you are doing so well. Shells are a good sign of possible targets on the beach. Don't pass up the shower areas on the beach at sunshine park, especially in the busy season.

Shells at old home sites are a good sign of targets too.

Keep posting. I feel like I am there with you.

I wish I could find some old home sites local here in Daytona but I have to get out into the country a bit more to find those and I have not had the opportunity to do that yet. Will keep posting

Nice finds!:clapping: I never have any luck with the gravel or the shell areas,:stars: all i find is the light stuff and trash, i always work the low areas,if I'm not out in the water. I am also going out tomorrow, but low tide isn't until 2:40 at the beach I'm working . Have fun and good luck!
