Spent 6 hours today swinging the Shadow X2. Got 3 eagle buttons, several percussion caps, a few fired bullets, some buckshot and some cartridges. The deer horn is in perfect condition - I'll give it to a friend who designs gourds - he can maybe use it in conjunction with one.

moved up to the 5 as I am very happy with the X2. It doesn't work as well as my Fisher for all non-relic things tho. steve

Steve,

I started out doing nothing but coin hunting with my dad.... back in 1986. I bought a Garrett Freedom II Coin Commander. It was a great little machine, too. When I moved into south Arkansas I met up with a couple of guys that relic hunted... Civil War Relics. I still used that same machine until '95 when I got Garrett's Grand Master Hunter CX III...used that until a year or so ago... when I got the X-5. I love it. Troy has put out some great machines!

Blessings,

Kim
