My son and I went back out today and I finally found my first Silver! Just a two hour hunt so I was pretty pleased. In total we found 2 1941's, 1942, 1945 Wheats and a 1959 silver Washington. I thought it was going to be clad for it was tarnished pretty bad. Any ideas on how to clean it??? Only 1 memorial and no clad this go round. Also found 3 Air Force coat buttons.

Congrats on the silver! Thanks for sharing! Happy Hunting!:)

Cool buttons. Personally, I'd leave the quarter alone. It's telling you a story just like it is.

Thanks for the comments guys. Really loving this hobby. Gonna make one more trip to the same spot tomorrow. I'll post a pic of the finds from all three hunts. The ACE 350 is working well most good finds have been 6" deep or more. Still think there is more silver to be found there. Maybe tomorrow will be my lucky day. Happy Hunting!

Yeah love that button.

Yes on the baking soda.
