Headed out early with my hunting buddy.
We had a place in mind so we headed off in that direction.
Prior to our destination we stopped in an old park (used long prior to being a park) but, we did not really feel like hunting it so, we looked around and headed back out.
It is an old park and I am sure there are coins to be had there but, we are not really into park hunting. We got permission to hunt it though in the event we ever feel like checking it out.
Here is the picturesque place we cruised through.

Then on to our destination.
It is an mid 1800s place and they are currently doing some work around it. You can see the tops of the barns in the background and the house is off to the side of the picture.
It is pretty much a virgin spot and turns out we have mutual friends so, we can go come back anytime they said.
I found some goodies but, this was the oldest for today for me.

Here she is with a splash of moisture for a date pic. Oh, and yes that lil scratch is compliments of my Lesche.

We still need more rain but, the rain we have had has helped but, the temperature was still close to 90 degrees so we called it quits early today.
Tomorrow is another day.
Thanks for looking and HH all.

The "Old Gal" is in nice shape. The few LC's I've found are badly corroded. Congrats!!

Great find Mike, glad you were able to get some hunting in. I can't remember the last time it rained here. 90

You will be hunting that park when your other resources start drying up ...

McDave I seriously doubt it. Atleast not for a regular spot to go.
Also, that is half the fun for me finding that " new spot/the virgin spot".
Sure, maybe I will have to drive a tad farther but, who-cares.
