Today's 10/20 early morning hunt nets me a big silver.

My hunting buddy and I are trying to get in as much hunting as possible with fall being here.
Many fields are not cleared so we decided to hunt a old home we have hit for over the last decade.
We decided to not even look in the huge front yard as it is pretty clean now after all our hunts.
Instead we moved to the other side of the drive and hunted the huge area in front of the barn.
Here is the area looking away from the barn we where hunting.

My very first good signal was a screamer high right. Surprisingly it turned out to be a nice 42 WL Half.

My next good signal turned out to be a dead on nickel hit (sitting on top of the bottom line). It turned out to be a worn date Buffalo.

Next my buddy called me over as he had gotten a silver way out near the front. It turned out to be a 29 Merc.

Then my last good target I dug here ended up be a really deep faint hit. Bouncing up high mid screen then down to the right.
Upon digging about 9" I popped out a 37 Merc. I am pretty sure it was almost on edge.

My buddy also dug to nice old flat-ties with back-marks here.
We dug some nice keepers here plus plenty of junk but, decided to hit another yard up the road then call it a day.
As the same as the first the finds are few and far between. This yard has a big barn area also but, we decided to save it for another day and concentrate around the front.
My only good find here turned out to be a Lil silver ring with the letter D.
Below are our finds for the day including my final keeper (the ring).

We hunted for about 3.5 hours and on the way home it started pouring rain so, we quit at a good time and had a another good day of hunting. We plan on getting out again Thursday if its not raining.
Thanks for checking out the post and HH everyone.
