Dug this today while detecting a small town park . Rough park not very well taken care of .
I have no idea what this is thought it was off a horse briddle at first but its to heavy and the size of a half dollar and its lead I think with Gold plating which some has came off . It won't stick to a magnet and its real heavy. Anyone have a idea what it is ? Heres the front and the back .

Boy, you've got me. It's interesting, but I don't have a clue. I'm sure someone here will know what it is. Maybe a slide that went on a saddle for decoration at one time. :confused: That's my guess. Thanks for posting it and hope someone will tell us what it is. There is a "whatzit" forum on here if you don't get an answer on the MXT Forum. Keep us posted. HH, Nancy
