From the land of the Bluenose.....fittingly this Newfie silver fish scale was found on a swish in the ocean off a beach.
Canada stopped the silver 5 cent piece issues in 1921. Guess those bouys were a tad slow getting with the program as well as with the rest Canada as they did not join Confederation till 1949! Of course their time is also a half hour behind us Bluenosers!
