Got out again today with my buddy.
Long story short after many years of trying to get permission at a certain location we finally got it.
Yard is treacherous to hunt with steep hills but, we where told its never been hunted as far as the owners know. So we will take the good with the bad.
My buddy stomped me today with a mint two piece Young Smith & Co. New York (Eagle A) button in mint condition. All I dug was a 43 Merc. and nine wheats (two I gave to the owner).
We promised all the knick knacks to the owner that why they are not pictured. My buddy also dug four wheats.
We know this yard holds old coins but, today I reckon was not the day too dig them.
We where told we can come back and hunt anytime they are home which is a blessing.
Here is my buddy hunting the least steepest area. LOL
I can see the children of long ago coasting or sledding down this hill.

Then a semi close up of his button. Young Smith & Co. New York ceased making these in 1858 I believe. The button is listed in Alberts as AY76.

Here is my lone good dig (Mercury Dime) as found.
