:clapping:Today is my last work day, although I agreed to work saturday and sunday too. ($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
I have the back end of the wifes Blazer stuffed with fresh donuts, and rolls, and am taking them in for the first shift gang in a few minutes.
Now I just have to keep the path to my trailer cleaned free of all this snow we keep getting, so I can roll for florida a month from today.!! :clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

I have the back of the Blazer full of fresh rolls and donuts for the first shift crew.Leaving to go deliver them after I post this.
I DID promise the boss I would work saturday and sunday.
But now all I have to do is keep the snow out of the path to my trailer so we can leave for Panama City a month from today.
I MADE it!!!!!!! :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Congratulations, I did it 17 months ago and haven't for one second regretted it. Funny thing about it I still don't have time to do everything I wont to do! You wont miss the job but you will miss some of the people you worked with.

I hope you have many good years in your retirement time.From your posts i would guess you were a union tradesman.If yes thank god for the opportunity to receive a union pension.It will help you to really enjoy your retirement.I'm retired from the building trades myself.

I hope you enjoy your retirement as much as I have enjoyed mine.

The only question I have to ask myself is, "How in the world did I ever do all the things that I did and hold down a full time job too?"

Sometimes I think I'll have to get a job again just to get some free time.

Maybe we can manage to get together this summer if you can stay away from the posts.
