Went to a local beach between 12 and 2 30pm today and jumped in the water...bloody cold but fantastic weather and better than being at work for a few hours!

Congrats on some fine looking rings. Two plats out of only 2 rings today is a phenomenal feat!

There really is some luck involved. Both quite old drops in the water for a long time. It is winter here in NZ and the beaches are pretty empty now. It is amazing that if you keep trying at the same beach more finds often present
