Its been a few years the i have visited the old horse track it has a lot of history last time I was there the grass was cut nice and lots of room to walk. Neglected and overgrown is kind. In the past I have pulled some keepers many machines Sovereign xs coinstrike .along with a horseshoe with lots of coins a letter opener some neat stuff. Well for only giving it a shot for maybe an hour this is what I dug. 1920 wheat cent along with a 41 merq. The wheat cent was under some roots sold signal good numbers ground is idel to detect WET! same as the dime soldi tone good numbers.

Nice looking old silver coin.
It is fun detecting old horse tracks as you never know what you will run into.
