Well the clad finds were meager..$2.31 But the mail box was full of gold>>> My old coil which did turn out to be defective...had a broken cable! The new coil pictured arrived and sure looks pretty!

BIG congrats to you Gregg. Isn't it amazing how fast they add up. Glad White's gave you a new coil. Now, go for the gusto. Maybe a 20,000 coin count by the end of the season???? I can see it happening.

I am already adding one hunt a week to make 10,000. I probably will have to hunt a little longer than 3 hours a hunt now too. But with a vacation in September (18 days off) and a vacation in October (18 more days off) I should have some interesting days!

We've hunted on Dec. 27th. before. Yes, it wasn't all that bad. In fact, that's our anniversary and I had found a little tanzanite heart ring with two diamonds that day in wood chips at a near by school. If it's not too windy and cold, we're always biting at the bit to get out and detect in the winter. Gloves and leather coat!

I did hunt last November and December when I first got the dfx. I am not including those numbers in my total will list separately. I also hunted in January which is included in my total for this year. February I did not hunt, because of record cold. But 20,000...no way...when ...if...I get to 10,000 I will be happy!

10,000 seems like a ton... I will do what I can to get there...There are also a few guys on another forum dong well with the clad as I am sure there are here. I am not trying to be first, second or third....I already learned no matter what you say some people will say I found one more, or one better....<that is great....it has nothing to do with my goal! Whatever your ending total is for the year. It's going to be a "grand" one. You've been doing great Gregg. Reminds me of our days of cladding and the yearly grant totals.....WOW and amazing!

I don't mean to push, but just happy to see you tallying your finds. Most people don't and could care less. We always kept a running tally of the amount and where it was found. I'm impressed with yours!!!!!

With the new 5.3 replacing my defective one I am going to have some big days coming! I just got in after using the new 5.3 and it was smoking pics later!
