People argue what settings are best for Excalibur.I had a great day in the water today, and I was trying to see what performed better and deeper.I always run my machine with threshold so you can only just hear it,in disc mode but turned down to minimum setting, sensitivity turned on manual turned up to the point that, when you swing your coil you dont get falsing.Today I dug some very weak signals which did not register in all metal, one was a gold ring, the other was a small gold cross ,both were very deep.I finished up today with 28 coins oldest 1906,one 9ct gold ring, a 10ct gold heart pendant , a 9ct gold cross and a heavy 9ct gold bangle. So I am more than happy with todays finds and the way I have my machine set up.
