Same spot just tried a different area which paid off with two nice quarters and a few more dimes and a nice sterling ring .
Trying to get out as much as I can grounds still soft and most spots.
Hit a couple hard spots though which I could break through.
I was hoping to find a SLQ so it was a nice surprise along with the 1945 Washington a 1939 mercury and a 1952 Rosie
Some clad charge and a few pennies..
And I got back to the car and a cool snowy owl was right above me on power line..

Mkus,

Looks like the Horseshoe is really working for you. Congrats on some very nice finds.

I have a note on my 800 to be sure to give this a try once the weather warms. Appreciate the tip. You mentioned Park 2. Using 50 tones as well?

Nice haul MK, Is that turquois? I think the ring is hallmarked Native Indian made.

Thanks guys like sharing these finds someone usually helps to identify who made items with the hallmarks yeah Jeff looks like turquoise to me
I thought the ring was another silver quarter lol

I thought I dug 3 silver dimes yesterday missed this 1936 in my pouch.

The SLQ is a S mint no date

Just google native American Indian silver hallmarks and look at the symbols.

Mkus,

I have been following your silver streak park hunt for I believe 4 different post. BTW Congrats on digs! One thing that really resonates with me is that on everyone of the hunts you have dug at least one Rosie. Anytime I dig a Rosie in my soil, I hit the breaks and slow everything down as I know if Rosies are present, the possibility of Mercs, Barbers and older is really high and they are going to be deeper and probably along with other silver denominations. I have proven this time and time again. And you are proving it too. That is just how the stratus layers work. So again, Congrats and keep working that area. I would bet that there are going to be plenty more silver coins come from it and they are going to be coming from it's deeper layers.

Thanks PCJ
That’s so true this spot is loaded with silver dimes the SLQ has been the oldest coin I’ve found here
And the coins are real deep 6-7” I have never found a barber around this area but just a 1/4 west in another
Field I nailed a capped bust dime a large cent and a beautiful 1854 EF condition seated quarter some real old buttons to.
