Hello.

Is the a way to print (to Paper A4) ONLY selected post/replies (especially from Cody because are so large) , because i haven't much time to read all interesting post/replies.

I wont to study this post and replies in my home with silence and a cup of Tea in the Afternoon where i don't have a Internet connection !!

Thanks.

Who do you think would bother listen to or collating those ramblings......let alone correct those spelling errors......

As we go through the Owner

I will have this organized and in book form hopefully early in 2006. I was going to joke about us lazy Okies but thought better of it as someone might take it seriously. You know the story, "A little boy asked the teacher how to spell rat and she said well son it is RAT. He no not that I mean like RAT NOW. So I will get this into book for RAT NOW. I have more than enough material as this has been going on for a long time. One of the deals at the univeristy if you teach is to be "published" so my THANG is metal detectors and electronics.

A problem is all the jumping around but I am kind of giving a preview of the book and it really does help to read what is said about the post. I lear, correct my thinking, and keep on trucking.

Have a good weekend and enjoy that detector I sold you last year. I have often wondered how you are doing with it.

The EX II is running proud, strong and happy - although it says it prefers OK winters to those in MA. It is running with the Periscope and a WOT coil - goin' down deep. The White's headphones however ultimately bit the dust and have been replaced by Gray Ghosts. You said it was mint - it was and is ! Keep on truckin' pardner and reserve a signed copy of the book for me !

Well Cody;
Because of your ramblings I have purchased a ex2. Up until now I was a dedicated fisher user but you expertise with ex2 and willingness to share your thoughts and experiments were too much to buck ( plus all the deep stuff everybody seems to be finding) so now I find myself going back to school to learn a totally different concept of metal detecting.-pulse induction. -All I can say is Thank You very much for everything you are doing to further the enjoyment of our hobby through knowledge of our machines.P/s please keep writing--I am going to need a little help.2006 is a long way from here. Bob

Fishers are good machines and I have used a lot of them. If I could have a bushel of detectors a few Fishers would be in the basket. I just cannot get the performance from them that I can with the EX2. Way back before Minelab came to the US it was a Fisher or Whites that I liked best. There began to be rumors flying around about the depth of a Minelab and it turned out to be true. It is discrimination at depth that you are going to really enjoy. It takes some time to go from a machine we are comfortable with to another one as you know. So with that, good luck and let us know of any help we can give.

Cody has some good ideas and theories but an Explorer is only as easy or hard as you want it to be and even in quickstart is a potent machine..KISS may be applicable in many cases, but to each his own and ones decision whether to read or not...I drive my car every day and don't worry why or how it runs, just so it runs....Lots of good reading on the net and tips to be learned by some of the best using this unit..
