To send or not to send????

I received my AT Pro on December 24th and have only gotton to use it 3 times because of weather and work. Recently on here was a test from garrett to see if your detector needs sent in,and Im not sure what to do. When using it it has ran perfectly no falsing problems and finding stuff like a champ.....But if I try to by shaking or twisting wrist I can get it to false so my question is did you guys send it in to be safe or did you really consider it to be a problem?? thanks

If you are absolutely sure it's not emi causing the problem I would send it in for sure. The problem won't get any better.

I would send it in. I sent mine back and the turnaround was about a week and ahalf...............Bottum line no more falsing

I suggest you call Garrett, ask for Sue or Brad and describe your AT Pro features with them. Not all detectors need to be sent in. Based on the combined information of it's operating characteristics and knowledge of the Garrett's staff, you may not have to send it in. If on the other hand you need to get it checked, be thankful it is built by a US company which really backs up it's products with excellent customer service.

mai scuotere bobina e Md in alto genera falso segnale, tenere sempre bobina molto vicino terreno Con graund automatico e pompando su e giu 5 / 6 volte si adegua al terreno automaticamente e poi spazzolare basso terra e poi funziona perfettamente, io lo uso in modalit

Had that falsing issue and was sent in ,Garretts did there magic on it
now sens cranked to the max no more falsing . Issue corrected !

Dirtminer,
I suggest that you send it in for two reasons.
1.) Since you trusted Garrett when you bought the machine, why don't you give them the benefit of the doubt and let them make it right. They are only Human and sometimes new equipment designs may have to be tweaked or perhaps a mis-assembly needs to be corrected.
2.) I plan on buying one of these, and I want you and everyone else who has a problem to please send them back to Garrett so Garrett is building them 100% correctly when I order mine.
