Hit St.Pete beach this morning for the 10am low tide. First place that I went to, the current was pulling so hard that I couldn't stay on top of a target to save my life. The worst I've ever seen it. Had to walk like I was leaning into a 60mph head wind. Found a junk mood ring and headed for a different spot.
The next location was perfect, low gentle rollers and a nice 5ft deep trench just off of the beach. Hunted it for about 2 more hrs. Got 1 thin dime and a set of house keys. I may be able to return them as they have the little Kash-n-Karry, CVS, Albertsons discount tags on the ring. We'll see what happens. Got home about 2:30 so I could mow the grass and it starts raining.
Oh well, I'm on vacation this week so I'll try again tomorrow.
