Mr Hombre,
I do belong to a club, 31 strong and just think of the items that use AA batteries besides detectors. The reason why so many, if you take a look at the brand, their shelf life is poor and this is the reason I purchased so many at such a low cost...

The magazine, Mother Earth News, years ago there was a short story about extending the life of your batteries. I enjoy reading your post and you are very knowledgeable about detectors. I would tell you where to look, not go, calling me names like that.::thumbup.....

......And furthermore, I was not calling you any names, just asking was all. Not that you give all that much info in your posts, but thanks for making me the object of your post, after all, bad press is better than no press at all.
