To Humid For Standard Phones.

My friend who lives in French Guiana which sits on the equator where the humidity year round is 90% or better...Wearing an over the ear cup phone or tight fitting, 5 minutes of detecting and the cups are full of sweats...Is there a phone offered on the forum for hot weather use...

The headphones that i use during the summer in the UK albeit its not as hot as French Guiana is the excellent XP wired backphones, they are very cheap and the sound quality leaves many of the high end detector headphones in the dust, also they fold down so that you can carry them as a spare backup set.

They really are that good in my mind and will work with all detector that i am aware of and also have a inline volume control as well.

+3 , and they come with an adapter for either size headhone jack and are wired to disconnect the external speaker on a CTX

What do you mean by disconnecting the external speaker. I would think that all wired headphones would do that on all detectors.
