to find treasure in Havana

Now there is an interesting idea.

Canadians holiday in Cuba quite a lot.

The government there would be interested in anything of any age I expect.

I wonder if there is a history beyond colonial settlement a metal detector could find?

Yep!

I'd love to go detecting and diving down there.

Havana harbor alone must have gazillion old bottles going back to the Spanish colonial period.

I've hunted Panama several times with a detector, in the water and on land and done pretty well on silver cobs. Cuba would be better though.
