Well got out this morning, the rain stoped, think the weather man needs to find a new job, he's not very good at being a weather man
any way I did find some clad, an a bunch zinc penneys a few copper ones all so, the best find was the 1944 Wheat
I found some of those little silver things to, I haven't figared out where they keep coming from, if only we could find a use for them lol

Ah the ever present pull tab....Don't ya just LOVE em....lol

Nice pile of coins...I have my days when I hit only pennies too...You gotta take the good with the bad, and in my opinion, it all adds up in the end...

I thought of a few uses for them.....

1) to make jewelry...others have done it why not us?

2) make pull tab furniture....why not? we find enough of them.

open to suggestions..be creative.

I do alot of hunting in campgrounds {campers loose stuff} and if pull tabs, tent pegs and bottle tops were worth anything......LOL
I do find junk, but mostly do o.k. with change and I found a gold band ring and some pieces of gold rope necklace{?} at one site alone! That was shortly after I got my detector . So... as you can imagine, every opportunity I do get out, I'm tainted 'cause I expect to find nothing but good stuff!!!
But I am a realist, sorta. I'm amped every time my unit gives me the high pitch- the sweet anticipation of what could be! This is why I hunt. The "good stuff" is all bonus baby.
Gonna go the local AAA ball field {LaCrosse Loggers- Northwoods League} and do some hunting under the stands, near the beer garden, etc.
