To be fair to the machine

I got out on Sunday for a 2 hour hunt that was brutally HUMID. Loved the hunt but hated the HEAT. Anyway the hunt was at the site where I found the Sword last summer. The Pommel to the Sword is missing and I'm still working on finding it. This spring when I went to the site I couldn't get the NOX to behave at all and I posted and complained to others about it as the CTX and the Deus both work perfectly at this site. I have since learned a lot and had done a Factory Reset. On Sunday I have to say that the unit worked perfectly and some of the musket balls and camp lead were a solid 8-12 down. No chatter no issues and very deep. I am very impressed with the Nox. There are things that could be better but overall for a sub $1000 machine its quite good and I don't see a reason to buy a competitors unit in this price range. Just thought I should say something since I had said so much before.HHunting

"Could be a moisture issue Todd? Or, lack of moisture!

Quite possibly your soil + Spring conditions 'upset' the ground cancellation that might have been a factor?
Now, soil minus offending moisture has normalised the stability?"

Its hot! Im glad your getting along with it. I like mine too and it did well at a site for me yesterday that had been hit with other detectors.

Todd will you be posting Equinox settings on your Blog?

Congrat's to you on the Nox 800. Here's hoping the same as others here that you can soon come across your sword's pommel.

If you are getting help from Jeff.....bank on it! HH Randy
