that sounds like a good bill for the benefit of all md'ers in the future. there will always be the jerks. our state parks are seriouly off limits, unless you know the locals and they turn their head for the poachers (friends). yea there are a few old timers who get away with it. the rest of us just dont get to hunt, because we are not law breakers. i would buy a permit and obey the rules, like hunting and fishing. the punishment needs to be appropriate too, to deter some of the bad ones. the clubs can also assist in the controlled digs by the archeo people. we helped do a fort, it was awesome, until the wrong person showed up and raised a fuss about our devil machines. there's one in every crowd. we found one hundred fifty +buttons, 1790-1830's for the display. they found animals bones and wood. oooooweee! hope your bill passes. i have to pout about a state beach owned by America's elite industrialists at one point, then given to the state. no hunting at all. i know a local does, lives on island, but he gets away with it cause of mommy's money! good luck on your end!
