I'm interested to hear specifics from dirt fishers who use multiple detectors.

Which detectors do you use where and why?

I'm especially curious to hear where those of you who have a large stable of detectors use the different units.

To me it's simple logic. No single machine can do all things. Some just work better in different applications. I like my E-Trac because of the FBS, Procoil, and a faster processor. My Tesoro Tiger Shark for freshwater hunting picks up the small gold and chains, has a lifetime warranty, and gets everything I am after in the fresh water. My White's Dual Field's coil covers a large area and is the machine I use when I want to make sure I haven't left any deep stuff. It also works well in the salt water/sand environment.
The part I won't admit is that it's also just plain fun to have a new 'boy-toy'. These kind of boy-toys don't get you in nearly as much trouble with your wife as some of others that are equally as tempting. . jim
