Titanium

Titanium, comes in 5 grades. The most common is type 2. That's what most your golf clubs are made out of. Now here's the part that I like. Germans who practically invented Titanium, have gone to making jewelry now, out of type 5. They used to make it out of type 2 but they found it was separating and bending to much and they would loose stones out of settings. The whole jewelry market was worried because of the recall on that particular grade. Type 5 is what most jewelers are going to now. I had a Jeweler explain this to me last Sunday. I hope this sheds a little lite on them. Most rings sell between $125- $300. Cost is more relative to the gold added, and type of workmanship and stones added ETC.
