titanium scoop got a new 90* top with knock out hole

Very interesting, I would think the 75 degree would work the best...It will be great to hear of your experience.
The knock out hole is a must for wood handle users.
What is your take on Carbon Fiber, Titanium, Stainless Steel and Wood handles?

I did not include Aluminium tube for the handle as I have made and destroyed both single and double wall Aluminium handles. Stainless Steel is on my scoop now and has lasted the past 7 years and it shows no sign of deterioration, but it is heavy. My original scoop (1992 vintage) is on its third nose piece and is so thin on the bottom it will not last the winter. I am going to hate to give up the old friend but hit has over 10,000 hours in the water and 7 different handles in its 22 years. I love it as it never gets tired of digging for treasure or trash as the case may be.

My the ring of gold be in you ears and its glitter in you scoop!

YOu left out fiberglass. If paired with the right scoop and done correctly they are cheap, light, .... and inexpensive. I do a lot of pulling and twisting when digging a targets so i had to mod mine by not using a drilled hole which tended to crack the handle. I use a Starvr scoop M9 which moves sand fairly quickly, is light, has a open top, and doesnt try to move nearly as much material as some of the larger scoops out there. I have a friend who bent.... yes bent his sun spot scoop twice and broke i cant tell you how many handle until he went to fiberglass. Its either that or he learned how to dig a target. Which does by the way help..... trying to bury your scoop everytime isnt the best method.

angle of the handle can get frustrating too for some of the more open scoops. The deeper you are the more the trade off. Example..... i might like the 65 degree for shallower water.... but you tend to loose some targets in deeper water..... hey but i dont drink as much water as i do with a 90. with a 90 i tend to want to take to big a bite so you need bigger holes to move the sand faster..... meaning you also loose smaller targets and you can break a few more handles. They work great thou from waist to chest deep..... after that you have to drink some water to get them planted.... BUT not nearly as many targets float out of the basket out there deep.
