Titanium Ring TID's?

Bill_S and I are looking for a medium men's titanium ring that was lost. We figured it was in the foil through tab range? I set up my machine and opened up the 12 line with the 5 block from 1 through 30 CO. Surely it would have hit it there somewhere? Anyone have some Ti rings to test? Thanks.

I just pulled one yesterday but it was near some iron. Rang up a very scratchy sounding 12-32 if I remember right. I'm headed out to hunt for a few hours tonight and I'll swing it without trash nearby and get back later.

Sure....

There was iron nearby and thinking about it there was a bunch of emi from buried power cables. Got it at the end of a basketball court. I'll swing it flat and edge on in some sod and get back in a few hours.

Wow, that was a lesson in skewed signals. Found a clear area with nothing in it. Swung the ring and got 12-16 flat, 12-18 at a 45 angle and 12-20 edge on. The sound was smooth without any warble.

When I found it conditions were so bad it was scratchy, barely identifiable in the middle of all the noise I was getting from the buried power lines and the rebar in the concrete it was up against. and the numbers were bouncing around but looked like they were averaging 12-32.

A good lesson on hunting in poor conditions for me. Hope this helps you.

Are we getting so old we can't remember what happened 2 days ago? Yep! I'll give him a call to make sure.

You found them too!!!! I just talked to Jeff. He said his ring is Titanium. He also said it was a thin ring. About the size of a tab ring. So I really think we are looking for an 8-12 fe x 1 to 13 co number?
