TITAN 3000XD QUESTIONS

I'm new to MD and I'm thinking of getting the Titan 3000XD and would appreciate any comments anyone has about the unit.

I have a Radio Shack 3300 and it does good. I've read on the forums that the Titan 3000XD and 3300 are the same except for two or three cosmetic differences so the Titan should also be good. A good article on the 3300 is at http://jb-ms.com/Detectors/3300.htm. I was undecided about buying one until someone posted a link to that article. I decided to take the plunge after I read it and am very happy with the 3300.

I have a Titan 3000XD and like it very much. It is a good value and goes quite deep in detecting. It has the bells and whistles of some more expensive detectors. It has a 5 year guarantee also

get the fisher f-4, same housing as the titan and 3300 but inproved internals, much faster prosessor, handles iron better and modulated audio, you get more info from the audio, and they may be still offering extra coils in a package, ive had both the 3300 and f-4
