Tips From Steve Moore On The Garrett Pro-Pointer

This is very interesting. It sounds like I could use that same technique to effect a ground balance. I learn lots from Steve Moore and say THANKS to him. Thank you too GarrettLover.

This is very useful, thank you! I have had the Pro-Pointer for almost a year and was not aware of this feature. It will be very helpful.

Thank you Garrettlover and thank you Steve Moore!

This is my first post. I first read about the pro-pointer trick [doubling its sensitivity] in The Searcher Mag. from England, about a year ago. Instead of a coin, I use the tip of my screwdriver probe. Seems to work as well. Just remember that the increased sensitivity gained is immediately lost aftr you have beeped the target, and you have to repeat the process for the next use. It doesn't take much time to learn or use this trick. My thanks tothe discoverer, and to the video that explained it so well.
