tips for relics

Has anybody used the Ace 250 on relics? I also have a Quattro that is about a week old. Any tips would be great. I will be breaking in the Quattro in West Tennesse, my inlaws have friends that there land was known Union hospital and campsite. This is going to be my fist time hunting relics, and my wifes first time md'ing
