<img src="/metal/html/indifferent.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":|"> Here is a picture that I made at Breaks Interstate Park. Several areas are to dark can someone give me tips on how to make lighter pictures. i am using a Olympus C3000 Zoom 3.3 mp camera. Any help would be appreciated.

with a picture like this, in auto, you must focus on the tree, push down the shutter button half way to lock in the settings and then move the camera off the tree and aim and shoot the picture.
I sure don't have all the answers to this photography as I am fairly new to it but it looks like you are focusing on the light sky and that makes the tree dark.
