Tip for you F5 users

Something that has frustrated me is changing coils and being able to tighten and loosen the coil cable to the
connector on the control housing on my F5. I have discovered a super easy way to do this and there is nothing extra needed to carry around to do so.
All you need is one of the Velcro straps that come with the unit. Always make sure that you have one on the
shaft and use it to tighten or loosen the connector. Just remove the Velcro fastener from the shaft and slide it around the
coil cable near the control box. Make sure the hard side faces the cable. Pinch both sides of the fastener to make a loose loop and slide the loop over the
connector by pinching the loop around the connector, you can easily tighten or loosen the connector. One word of caution is to
start the connector on the threads with your fingers and work it onto the control housing making sure that it is not cross threaded before
tightening with this method.

That is a good idea, you may want to post it over in the general metal detector forum. There are other brand of detectors that have the same problem as the F5.
