Tip For Those Who Have A Scale To Weigh You Finds

Check the instructions on your electronic weigh scale. Sometimes, the scale needs to be re-calibrated using a 100 gram weight. Well, if your machine all of a sudden needs to be calibrated, where do you get a 100 gram weight?

Get a roll of pennies and remove about 6-7 pennies. This should get you fairly close to the 100 gram mark. You may have to add/remove pennies to get even closer to the 100 gram mark. Fine tune the weight by adding crumpled balls of aluminum foil. When you have reached the 100 gram mark, close the roll back up, mark the roll as 100 grams and put it away for a later day.

It's pretty hard getting a 100 gram weight if suddenly your scale conks out on you. Be prepared.:help:
