Tiny Piece of Gold, I think....

I found this at the beach with the CTX. It is only 1/4 inch across. It is heavy. When I first looked at it through a loop, I could see a small fleck of gold. I took some acid from a 14k test kit and dripped it on the piece. More gold appeared. I know this is a long shot, but anyone have any clue what this thing may be? It is gold because the acid did nothing to it. In fact, it seemed to reveal more gold. Look at the pics.

It kinda looks like the acid ate up a little of the top of the gold. Did you scrap a little on the black stone and put test acids on it to see if it stayed or got eat up?
