Tiny Compadre find

JMC

New member
Stepped out back this morning with the Compadre for a few minutes. The ground was wet so the signals were strong. Got a hit clear and crisp but the target eluded me. Kept moving soil and digging carefully checking as I went with the pin pointer. Got a few small iron nails of course but the Compadre kept insisting there was something else. Finally came up with this tiny washer, maybe copper at about 5 inches down. That's what it saw. Talk about a sensitive little unit.

Don't you know it!

On my very first hunt with mine I got a solid loud signal in a tot lot.
Couldn't find that target for the life of me.
Even when I finally got it in my hand my Propointer never went off unless it was touching it.
It turned out to be one small bead from a chain that was the size that comes on most nail clippers.

Slingshot has posted about how his found the tiny ball off the end of a typical ball point pen.
Not the whole assembly...just a round bead the size of that tiny ball.

We try to tell people how sensitive this thing is but unless they see for themselves many never believe it.

I know it "" I got a 22 slug today 5" deep

i can vouch aswell..... fresh into my first real hunt i found what i believe to be part of a vintage bra fastener that was atleast 4" deep and gave me fits trying to locate it with my pinpointer. i dang near gave up:surrender:

I have the same thing happening to me. I have the target in my glove and the pin pointer is going off like crazy and I still can't see it. I think it is a $100 gold coin from another dimension I just can't see it yet? Just thinking! .....Z

Sensitive beyond belief, I have held target found with compadre and still not seen it in my hand

How's silver compare to compadre? Having sensitivity adjustment......

Now you know why the compadre is wanted by most of us nuts. It is a real gold finder... KEN

Not as sensitive.
Not 180 ED and different circuitry.
