Tiny charm.......

Parkit

New member
In fact the smallest I've ever found, really. It never ceases to amaze me how the Ace 250 will pick up the tiniest target if you let it. This manatee charm was in a bark-chip tot lot right at 4", below the chips and in the sand underneath. Everything was damp from the recent rains on Wednesday.

I also found this earring back and the little jewelry link at the same place, the link was barely under the bark chips and the earring back was maybe 2" deep. I run my sensitivity at 3 or 4 bars and was in coin mode.

The coin take was more or less the usual.

I'd be interested in seeing any tiny goodies anyone else has found, the conditions and depths and what machine was used. I'm sure some itty-bitty stuff has come up, but like I said it just amazes me what the Ace can do, all for $212.

It was about 4 inches deep in dry sand at a playground. I chased it around with my pinpointer for about 2 minuets before I spotted it. BB's have given me fits more than once. I chase a mini staple around my dirt pile for about 5 min. once before I got my pinpointer.

I've found several tiny things including tiny bits of fine wire. The sensitivity of the 250 is amazing. I discovered that right off the bat when I first field tested it.

Aside from the bb's and staples I have found also, I found this tiny Washington State emblem (sitting on a half dollar in picture) in a bark playground. In comparison, I think the largest I'll ever find was the IKE dollar.
