I remember Tinfoil and talk to him several times on the phone about our Sovereigns plus E Mails. Don't know what happened as I haven't seen him around anymore.
Jerry was one of the guys you paid attention too as he knew his detector well. I remember selling him a new Sun Ray S-8 for his Sovereign and he didn't think it worked that good for him in his area, so I bought it back and used it myself before I sold it and it did well for me and did better then my favorite coil the 8 inch Coinsearch coil.

It never occurred to me until now, the similarities between a beep forum and an ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) forum. In the latter, one of the most common things that happens is that there are dropouts. They don't always announce their departure beforehand. In a few instances they actually do.
Tinfoil was a great contributor to the metal detector forums. He went on vacation and it's finally dawning on us that maybe he's not coming back.
Anyone got info that might provide "closure"? Tinfoil, you still here?
