Timing the Tide - another Lucky Strike day

Ian (Japan)

New member
Went for a three hour afternoon hunt to coincide with a very low tide. Using an Ace 150.
The steps from the concrete walkway had been cleared of sand by the bulldozer and spread out across the beach as expected so I went over some of that for about half an hour and got some coins, chances are there is a lot more than that there too, but resisted the temptation and went to just above low water mark. "Time and tide wait for no man" and all that kind of stuff. :D
The sinkers and keys started coming out first with a couple of watches marked 'waterproof' but they weren't. So stuck to that area for the remaining time and knew I was on to something when the Lucky Strike lighter appeared .....nah, just kidding. :smoke

Result:
Five silver rings.
Earring
971 yen in coins
Two game machine tokens

Perfect weather. Very few people there mid-week and because the nearby aquarium was closed.
