Kick it up a Notch !!

The GB that is. I have always had very good luck hunting in moderate iron by letting the XT-70 track along on the GB. However, something Andy mentioned in the field test of the Exterra 50 came to mind and I thought I would go ahead and try it on the 70. After ground balancing I increased the GB by 3 numbers (Andy advised to increase the 50 by 1 number in the field test) ie; from a manual or auto GB of 15 I increased it to 18. Signals on iffy targets around iron did seem to be much improved. Give it a try Exterra users and let us knopw how it works in your ground.
