Time Ranger

Mac, I've been off the site for nearly 6 months, got busy and sidetracked by other things. Been detecting for several years. Purchased the Time Ranger about 8 months ago, upgraded from the Pioneer 202/
Quick Draw II. I am very impressed with the TR, it is everything it is reported to be. There is a bit of a learning curve but it is worth it. The first thing I noticed is the increased depth and sensitivity. The 202 is a great machine, I've found a lot of good stuff with it - it's depth was about 8". With the TR I have retrieved coins at 12". I really like the smooth action and simplicity to change from one mode to another. The no motion coil is a great feature for pinpointing. It has pre-programed settings, or you can customize it for the setting you want or need. I really hated to give up my 202 ( kept it as a backup of loaner for anyone that wants to join me on a hunt) but all that I gained with the TR was well worth the investment. It is a great machine. If you have specific questions feel free to private message me and I'll try to answer them for you. Happy Hunting.
