Well vacation time is finally here for me and I'm going to put in some serious detecting and fishing time during 4th of July in South Jersey!
Weather is supposed to be nice (fingers crossed) and I've got a new At-Pro and a brand new 6" sand scoop with the steel tip from one of the sponsors here.
This will be my first time detecting at the beach and I hope to upload some pics or vids later in the week.
I'm sure there will be a learning curve involved, but that's ok.
So the plan is to try the first thing every morning and then just before dinner I will go back to hit again before
I come back for dinner and many adult beverages :beers:

have a great time,take the time to learn the machine,dont be discouraged by digging a fair amount of trash-its all part of beach hunting....as with land hunting please fill in your holes especially those above the present water line....stay safe,sober and have a great time...good luck.....
