Time For A Shower

When we were visiting a Zoo in 2014 I did this shot with the Fujifilm HS25EXR.
It was a very hot day and this bird was taking a self made shower.

I love it. That would cool you off for sure. What a strange looking bird. What is the wire there? Do you think it's an electric fence? Seems kind of strange with it being in the water though. Great picture though. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you for your reply, Nancy.
Now that you mentioned the wire I had a closer look to some other pictures and yes, it seems to be an electric fence.
This wires, 3 on top of each other, are surrounding an island where great apes live on.

Oh how cool. So they must be keeping the great apes in the island and other predators out. Very interesting Vito. Thank you.
