Tigershark on the Way Here

scubadetector

New member
Well fcr about 8 years now I have been a strict CZ-20 and CZ-21 fan. That kind of changed a week ago when I borrowed my friends Sting Ray 2. I was super impressed with the small targets it found and impressed with the target seperation on a drop off I have been cleaning up on.

So I sold my CZ-20 which I broke accidently 3 weeks ago and the buyer is getting a new CZ-21 when it gets shipped to him and I bought an older Tigershark with the interchangeable coils but he only had the 8".

I am looking for a 10" one also if anyone knows where one can be located. I am excited to try this detector in places I have cleaned out with the CZ-21. I am hoping to scare up some small gold.

If i could get a tiger shark in a micro max housing, I would buy one on the spot

Very good machine!! Congrats

I just purchased an old Sting ray last week I'm going to try and get to the lake this week.Keep us posted on your finds.HH

The tiger with a 10 inch coil is is hard to beat.it is also hard to find one.if your 8 " coil cable is in good shape, Tesoro can build you a 10" coil or about $150.00 ,but they will have to use your cable and connector.Or they can hard wire it.

I have nothing but good to say about my Tiger with the 10" coil. I think you will really like this detector.

I'm really interested to see how the Tiger compares to your Fisher especially in the depth department. We all know the 20/21's are deep machines on par with the Excal's so please keep us posted on your opinions of the Tiger....

I got my 10" coil from the detector shop in Plainwell. Al may have a used one on the shelf. Give him a try, he can ship it also.

I will call Al.. Thank you. I failed to mention I still have a CZ-21 with a 10" coil. I am thinking with both machines I will be able to clean up some spots a lot better. I really enjoy the CZ and won't part with it. Another reason for a Tigershark is a companion can use it and we can be a lot closer to each other than two CZ's can.

Thanks for the replies. Glad I am fanning with scuba gear and NOT scooping. That thing picks up SMALLLLLL targets!
