TIGER SHARK

Ground balancing the Tiger Shark is easy. Set mode in Normal fast, all metal. Hold coil about a foot off ground with out any metal under the coil. Wait for threshold to steady and quickly lower coil to just above ground. If the sound went up, turn Ground Adj. knob counter clockwise till sound is the same as you raise & Lower coil. If the sound went negative, turn Ground Adj. to the right till pumping coil up and down produced a stady hum of threshold.

Easy to adjust. Be sure if your on a salt water beach you are not in the wet sand or have the SALT Mode turned on as it won't ground balance.

I am thinking hard about the Tiger Shark also, are there any other machines in the same price range I should be studying up on??

I have no idea.I use a white's pi 1000 and the excalibur.I will say
this, the pi1000 goes deeper then the excalibur. If the water is calm
I use the 1000.If the water is not so calm,I will use the excalibur.
I have been using the pi1000 since 1985 and the excalibur since it first came out.If you want to go deep, use the 1000.
