I was considering a Tiger shark as my fresh water machine. What are the thoughts from the people who use this machine. Also thought of the cz20 and 1280.
Your input appreciated.

If your detecting in freshwater, the Tiger is an excellent detector. Mine found lots of gold and silver. You will be suprised to find really small stuff.Had mine for 3 years.

Then picked up a used OLDER 1280x and had it recalibrated by Fisher. I liked it just as well as the Tiger, actually liked the tone response better, more pleasing to my ears.

It's a toss up between those two, if Tesoro would change the tone or have a tone adjustment. I'd get another.

Sold both of those guys and bought a Detectorpro Wader which I like for the compactness and works very well. For some reason I don't think it's a good as the above two. But, I'm keeping it because it excells over the other two in saltwater.
