Does anyone know if Tesoro has solved the problem of the connector they have had problems with, I haven't heard much about it recently.
Also can the tiger be used on salt water beaches, most of the time I will hunt fresh water, but will hunt salt water beaches when on vacation. Thanks:tesoro:

I,ve seen on the forum rumblings of the Tigers coming back soon.
I sure hope so for I've put money down for a new one when they reappear.
I hunt freshwater and I've seen reports of there prowess in finding small gold (ie. chains )
Not sure about salt water read some past post that it struggles in that kind of water !!

I contacted Tesoro about a month ago and asked if they had a projected release date for the Tiger Shark. The reply was "No, but it will be soon". I'm waiting on one too. Skip

To be fair and accurate, they did NOT have problems with the connectors. The supplier they used stopped manufacturing them. Then they tried to have others make them and they were not good. So..they ended up purchasing their own machine to make the connectors in house. I am told the new connectors are designed even better but will be totally compatible with the previous machines and coils. jim
