Tiger Shark Salt Water?

Jim Robertson

Well-known member
Does anyone know how the Tiger Shark does in Salt Water and wet sand with a lot of iron? Thanks jim

I don't know about beachs with a lot of Iron I work salt water sand and water the same way I work fresh water beaches and water I set it on Motion Disc I set Disciminate mode on 4 I turn it on Salt for salt water.

You want the Sand Shark, a pulse induction detector, for saltwater use. It is an all metal machine that does not discriminate and is not affected by the high mineralization of saltwater. The Tiger Shark is a very low frequency detector, which does not do well in highly mineralized environments, and is used in fresh water. - Terry
