Tiger shark salt mode

How well does the salt mode work on the beach and in the water? There is a good chance I am going to buy a TS in two weeks.

Ive owned a Tiger and freshwater hunted only with it though ....... but my understanding from past posts has been that the salt water mode switch when used in hunting salt water beaches or in the surf the Tiger has still been quite chattery. Someone correct me if I'm wrong , but that's always been my understanding about the salt switch on the Tiger. Now the Sand Shark is a PI Unit and does very well in the salt water. The Tiger is best in my book for fresh water hunting though....
Hope this helped,
Good Luck,

I've been quite pleased with my TS in freshwater. I've heard that it isn't the best choice if one is going to hunt mostly saltwater beaches, but good for freshwater and okay for saltwater once in a while.

It seems from some PMs that I have had that the TS will work in salt water according to location.??????

Jay is correct on the TS. Not the best machine if salt water beaches are your hunting area

The Sovereigns and the older Fisher CZ machines run smoothly on the beaches. For in the water use at the beach, the Excalibur is the choice machine
