Tiger Shark river hunt

The Tiger was doing it again for me today. Found this .925 ring and a chain (not gold) but the junk chain in my scoop made my heart skip a beat anyway. LOL !!

:thumbup:That ring is a real beauty, and I like that chain to.What were your settings on the tiger?
I do not see a end on the chain did you cut it with your scoop?I have cut a bunch my self.

Not to badd , Nice ring

I hunt in disc 0 and the small chains give a crackle sound like bobby pins. The junk chain had no ends on it when I found it. Looked again and nothing else in hole or area. A magnet sticks right to it. It was fun to find anyway.

I had my Tiger out twice this weekend and did not have much luck. My first hunt was on a big bay with about 2.5 foot waves that were constantly pounding me. To make things worse the water was all stirred up and visibility was near zero in the water. The few targets I did recover were junk and it was hard trying to keep the scoop oriented and in position with no water visibility. I finally quit after I found a metal ring that was about 3/4 inch inches thick and about 8 feet in diameter! My only score was one zinc penny. The next day I went to a river where the water is still pretty high and the current was strong. Due to the water depth I was only able to hunt a small area and only found about a dozen bottle caps. Oh well, I will keep at it and look for some smaller lake beaches to hit.

Lake Hunter, nice ring! I hunt pretty much with the same settings as you and sometimes do all metal fast mode. Sooner or later I will score! Just tough with high water levels right now.
