Tiger Shark,Performance,,???

hiya guys,,,wanted to know what sort of performance the Tesoro Tiger Shark has,,,what depth on salt wet sand ??? any input appreciated,,i would really like to try one but wanted your input first,,:ukflag: rgds ,,

I have one but use it mostly for fresh water or dry sand. To use it on salt wet sand or in salt water the sensitivity has to be turned down a bit. The depth is not anywhere near what I can get with my Excalibur, Sovereign, or CZ-21. In fresh water or on dry sand it will find small gold and chains that the other detectors pass right over.

John is right. I used my Tiger Shark in the sea a few times (and I have found a few coins), but the depth was not great and it was constantly falsing in shallow water (knee deep). It was a little more stable waist deep. "Listening for whispers" was not possible at all. I hope to do some more test when the water in Denmark gets warmer:)

Jim, do you use it in the water? Are you able to groundbalance in the water? Do you have any tricks to share? Thanks for any input!:)
